Comfort & Rest
- Cat bed
- Blankets or soft bedding (make sure to remove labels)
Feeding Essentials
- High-quality dry or wet cat/kitten food ( Nulo dry + Nulo wet food)
- Treats (try to stick to natural options like PureBites.
- Food and water bowls ( bottled or filtered water only – NO tap water)
- Water fountain (optional)
Litter & Hygiene
- Litter box ( no lid, better pick Extra Large)
- Litter ( wood pellets/crystal litter) NOTE: when rehoming we include a litter sample. Our cats and kittens use wood pellets, but won’t have an issue switching to another litter if transitioned slowly. We do not recommend dusty litters.
- Litter scoop
- Litter mat
- Litter disposal system or odor control bags
Travel & Safety
- Cat carrier (it’s handy to have both soft and hard carriers) Soft carrier will work perfectly when picking up your kitten.
Play & Enrichment
- Scratching post or pad
- Cat tree or climbing furniture. IMPORTANT – do not go for the biggest tree, especially for younger kittens. In case the kitten loses balance, make sure there are soft surfaces around to prevent injury.
- Interactive toys (balls, puzzles) IMPORTANT – no feather/ribbon toys should be left alone with the kitten/cat. Make sure all the labels are removed and be extremely cautious with small parts – those can be easily swallowed and causing blockage. BEFORE LEAVING YOUR KITTEN/CAT ALONE – MAKE SURE THE TOYS AND ENVIRONMENT IS SAFE (RECLINER CHAIRS,WINDOWS,USB CORDS, HEADPHONES, PLASTIC NOT ACCESSIBLE)
- Catnip
Grooming & Maintenance
- Brushes
- Nail clippers
- Lint roller
- Pet-safe shampoo ( must have degreaser shampoo)
- Water Additive
- Pet-safe wipes
- Pads (in case traveling)
Pet Insurance
We include 30 days of “Go Home Day” pet insurance through Trupanion with every kitten. Coverage begins the day your kitten leaves our cattery.
While it’s completely up to you whether to continue the coverage after it expires, we strongly recommend it – unexpected accidents and health issues can happen, and having insurance provides peace of mind.
