GO-HOME GUIDE
It’s time to finally meet your new furry family member!
We’ve combined these instructions to make it easier for you to welcome your kitten home and ensure a smooth transition.
Pick-Up & Ride Home
- Please make sure to have a soft or hard carrier
- You may add a towel or blanket to help your kitten get used to your scent
- Kittens are not fed before travel to avoid upsetting their stomach
- A pad will be placed inside the carrier just in case
Getting Home
We recommend preparing a safe space and not allowing free roaming for the first few days.
Your kitten needs time to adjust to:
- New environment
- New smells
- New sounds
Allow your kitten to settle at their own pace
Safety preparation:
- Remove or block anything in the room that could potentially harm the kitten
- Remove cords and wires or secure them out of reach
- Limit access to tall cat trees or high areas initially
- Provide soft landing surfaces where falls could happen
- Remove scented plugins, candles, or essential oils, as they are unsafe for cats
- Ensure kitten does not have access to poisonous plants
Our kittens are familiar with carpeted surfaces
Room Setup
Litter Box
- Use a medium-sized, open litter box (no lid initially)
- We use wood pellets (sample included)
- Important:
- Ensure easy access
- In larger homes, provide multiple litter boxes
- Do not place too far away (e.g., basement at first)
- Kittens need time to learn the layout of your home
- Food & Bowls
- Use stainless steel bowls only
- Do not reuse bowls from other animals
- Wash thoroughly before use (no residue)
Toys & Safety
- Remove all labels and tags
- Do not leave kitten alone with:
- Ribbons
- Feathers
- Strings
- Small detachable parts
Anything that can be swallowed should be removed.
Other Pets
If you have other pets:
- Please quarantine for at least 1 week
- Even if your kitten appears confident, this is still a significant change.
When introducing:
- Take it slow
- Supervise the first interactions
- Control the first few days together
- Gradually increase time spent together
- Only leave them alone once you are confident
Feeding Guide
Your kitten goes home with raw mix + dry food.
Please follow these guidelines and transition slowly if changing diet.
First Days
- Do not change diet immediately
- Appetite may be lower due to excitement and stress
- Offer small portions at first

Keep routines consistent, but allow your kitten to settle at their own pace.
